Recharge, Make Art

& Refresh

Online or In person

Uncover strengths and interests that will enable you to meet challenges that arise in your life.  As an art therapist I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to facilitate change and in the art process to aid clients refocus their energies, regain a sense of control and enhance communication.  Through the creative process and discussion in a safe space one can gain insight and develop new coping skills.

I am a qualified HCPC registered art therapist and artist. As an art therapist, I have experience with a variety of populations.  I have worked with individuals of all ages from outpatient to inpatient levels of care in the US and in the UK. I work in private practice and at a local hospital providing care on the dementia/geriatric, neurology wards, promoting staff wellness through workshops and support groups for patients with chronic illnesses and for their caregivers.

As an experienced art therapist in mental health, I have worked in-patient psychiatry for patients with acute mood, personality, conduct and eating disorders; schizophrenia, substance abuse and medically ill children.  At an out-patient mental health clinic, I worked on-site and off-site with individuals with chronic mental illnesses, dual diagnosis, cognitive and physical disabilities, mothers of premature babies, US veterans with PTSD, schizophrenia, eating, personality and mood disorders.
